Kuala Besut: BN menang, Agenda 16:16 gagal

Calon BN, Tengku Zaihan Che Ku Abd Rahman dijulang selepas SPR mengumumkan kemenangannya.

BN memperolehi 8,288 undi, manakala PAS pula sekadar memperolehi 5,696 undi.

–TMI

Ms Shahrizat, like other BN leaders, have been visiting Ramadan bazaars in Besut to greet voters. As this is the fasting month Ramadan when Muslims traditionally exercise restraint and respect for one another, the by-election campaign has been relatively calm -- free from personal attacks and mud slinging. Candidates and their supporters are making use of the opportunity to break fast and pray with voters in a bid to get close to them.
