BN indeed a strong and experienced leading party. More weaknesses should address and be improved too.
ReplyDeleteteruskan dptkan sokongan masyarkat cina.
ReplyDelete40juta kes sabah 250juta NFC lembu duduk kondo 500juta kapal selam 10juta n. senbilan lu tak nampak ka bodo pun orang
ReplyDeleteJANGANKAN SOKONGAN CINA, SOKONGAN ORG MELAYU BUMIPUTERA PUN UMNO MENGHADAPI MASALAH BESAR...//
ReplyDeleteNajib, masalahnya golongan Cina hilang kepercayaan dah kat umNGOK/BeeNd. Masyarakat Cina kebanyakkan berniaga. Perniagaan makin sukar kerana wang dlm negara makin kurang (dibawa lari), bayar hutang dan nilai RM makin rendah. Melihat contoh baik kpimpinan ngeri2 PR, pastinya mereka optimis/proaktif kearah perubahan menyeluruh di peringkat pusat.
ReplyDeleteHIDUP RAKYAT! A.B.U.BeeNd!
Kalau nak sokongan masyarakat Cina.. mudah saja.. bubarkan UMNO..!!!
ReplyDelete**kebun cina!!!
ReplyDeleteThe question of whether the Barisan Nasional (BN) or the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) would form the next government rests with the Chinese voters.
ReplyDeleteFormer Deputy Minister Datuk Yahya Lampong said Chinese voters represent 20 per cent of the voters in Sabah.
"This has been proven since the general election system was introduced in Sabah in the 1970s when Chinese voters were the determining factor for the victory of previous governments under Usno, Berjaya, PBS and BN," he said in a statement.
ReplyDeleteDespite the Kadazandusun and Muslim-Bumiputera making up the largest percentage of the total voters in Sabah, he said, the two groups could not form the government based on the current political scenario where both the BN and PR have equal chances in the election.
ReplyDeletePM sentiasa mengutamakan rakyat.
ReplyDeleteThe Sabah Department of National Unity and Integration (JPNIN) is calling for more Rukun Tetangga (RT) or Neighbourhood Watch committees to be set up in areas where Chinese form the majority of the residents.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteIts Director, Nurul Akmalina Shamsuddin, said there are only six RTs in predominantly Chinese areas in Sabah. They are in Taman Dixon, Luyang, Damai, Taman Reservoir Garden, Dah Yeh Villa and Kg Yuk Choi in Lahad Datu.
According to her, the small number of Chinese RTs was caused by lack of information about the entity to the Chinese community.
ReplyDelete"Actually, many are interested in the Rukun Tetangga (to be set up in their locality) but maybe they don't know how to go about it," she told a briefing at Sabah Federal Administration Complex, Thursday.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteShe said they could either call her office at 088-488242/488425 or visit the JPNIN office at City Hall.
ReplyDeleteAccording to her, there are 558 RT areas in Sabah, which makes Sabah having among the most RTs in the country after Selangor, Johor and Sarawak.
She said the increase was due to requests from the public to create the neighbourhood committee in their respective locality.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteNurul said the RTs role is still relevant and significant given its success in preventing as well as reducing crimes.
ReplyDelete"In areas where there are Rukun Tetangga in operation, we noted between 10 and 15 per cent decrease in social crime cases," she said.
ReplyDeleteCiting Kundasang, she said, Ranau police commended the Volunteer Patrol Scheme (VPS) there for doing a good job in reducing crime cases.
She said this shows that Rukun Tetangga is still relevant in society.
ReplyDeleteOn other developments, Nurul said the Federal Treasury Department has approved a grant of RM6,000 to each RT to enable it conduct its activities.
ReplyDelete"In addition to that, RM1,000 is also given to the Volunteer Patrol Scheme to purchase their necessity namely for food and drinks," she said.
ReplyDeleteThe Neighbourhood Watch this year, she said, is very lucky indeed because of the incentives. RT members, she said, are equipped with a vest, small torchlight, raincoat and first aid kit, among others.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteThe VPS, she said, are also empowered to conduct citizen's arrests.
"This is because they are part of the residents in the locality concerned and also responsible to maintain harmony there.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDelete"It is also because they know the residents in their locality," she said.
VPS who are under the employment of an establishment, Nurul said, could apply for deduction of working hours from their respective establishment if they patrol more than two hours after midnight.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteHowever, they must inform their employer that they would be involved in patrolling their locality, she said.
ReplyDelete"They can only patrol their vicinity for not more than four hours and they cannot carry forward the replacement hours from their employment to another day," she said. There are 190 VPS in Sabah at the moment.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, some 2,200 RT committee members are expected to attend a briefing on the Neighbourhood Watch Act 2012 at the State Legislative Assembly banquet hall on Dec 18, she said.
ReplyDeleteOn the same day and venue, they would participate in the launching of the State level Sayang Komuniti (Love Community) programme that would be officiated by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
Nurul hoped the briefing would enable the RT committees, government leaders and also State and Federal government agencies to understand the role and functions of the RT at the grassroots level.
ReplyDeleteShe said the Neighbourhood Watch Act 2012 clearly explains the RT concept that inculcates social unity and community harmony.
ReplyDeleteShe also said the JPNIN would be targeting more RT areas in Sabah next year.
