PR Leaders Get Together

THE PAKATAN Rakyat component parties leaders in Keningau, welcomed the visit made by the DAP Kota Kinabalu Member of Parliament Hiew King Cheu to the interior of Sabah.

They said the visit of the KK MP Hiew had definitely enlightened them with the many latest issues and happenings that are affecting Malaysia nowadays.

In the meeting various matters had been discussed and transpired. The major item discussed is focusing on the general election preparation work and planning within the PR.

The PR leaders in Keningau were advised to get ready all the necessary items required for the election as early as possible. A complete campaign program is to be drawn up for the next 100 days in full detail, ready and to put into action at once.

There is no time to lose, and some immediate action is required apart from the present activities of the Pakatan Rakyat in Keningau and Tenom.

MP Hiew also advised that the PR election committee in Keningau is to be put into full swing and operational. This main reason is due to the large area of this constituency in Keningau, and it comprises of many remote villages where accessibility is very difficult.

The rural folks must receive the 'message of change”' soonest possible. Hiew also reminded those he met in Keningau, that it is not only the PR members will have to work hard to bring about change, but it is the responsibility of every single Malaysian who wishes to see a better future in the country and for the future generation.

Hiew also enlightened them that in the coming general election it is important to select and elect the 'clean and straight' people’s representatives, and should stay away from those people who had past bad records with known corrupt deeds, abused of power, bad performance, and who didn’t care about the well being of the people, any only their own selfish gains and greeds!

These people are trying very hard to lure and to convince the people to support them back into power again. What will the people get in return? A common saying is that “don’t bring a thief back into your house”!

Meanwhile, MP Hiew had also received complaints concerning the various problems arising from Keningau, and these comprising the bad infrastructure, cleanliness of the town, and even the sale of drugs issues. The MP said it is important that the PR representatives should work hard to solve the people’s problem and have to work hard covering the whole district.

  1. Tidak tahulah bagaimana pihak pembangkang akan mengagihkan kerusi antara parti komponen mereka bila PRU-13. Masing-masing mahukan kerusi lebih.

  3. Sudah tentulah yang hadir tu tidak ramai. Sambutan tidak meriah. Jadi tunggu saja keputusan PRU13.

  4. They may sit on the same table, but I am sure there will still be clash of ideology as well as their own personnel agenda to all this matter.

  14. Since we have many parties contesting in this coming election, might as well we vote based on the candidates and not the party. We shouldn't vote for anyone who have any bad past records with known corrupt deeds, abused of power, bad performance, and who didn’t care about the well being of the people.
