Pengerusi SPR, Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof berkata, ini kerana DUN sekarang akan tamat tempohnya esok selepas lima tahun bersidang.
Pihak SPR pula, tambah beliau, mempunyai masa selama 60 hari daripada tarikh pembubaran untuk mengadakan pilihan raya.
"Speaker (Negeri Sembilan) akan menulis surat kepada SPR memaklumkan DUN Negeri Sembilan terbubar. SPR pula mempunyai masa 60 hari untuk untuk mengadakan pilihan raya," katanya kepada Malaysiakini.
Ditanya bagaimana sekiranya Speaker tidak berbuat demikian, Abdul Aziz yakin Speaker akan menghantar surat mengenai pembubaran DUN negeri itu.
Negeri Sembilan dengan 36 kerusi DUN adalah negeri pertama yang terbubar secara automatik pada 27 Mac ini selepas cukup tempoh lima tahun.
Sebanyak 21 kerusi di negeri itu dikuasai BN dan 15 kerusi lagi dikuasai Pakatan Rakyat dengan DAP menguasai sepuluh kerusi, PKR empat kerusi dan PAS pula satu kerusi. -MK

ReplyDeletePerdana menteri tidak perlu pun memanggil satu sidang akhbar khas.Pejabat perdana menteri hanya boleh mengeluarkan kenyataan satu atau dua perenggan memaklumkan yang perdana menteri telah mengadap Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong untuk mendapatkan nasihat dan perkenan tarikh pembubaran parlimen.
