Status anggota Parlimen Labuan akan ditentukan tidak lama lagi

Speaker Dewan Rakyat Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia berkata Jabatan Insolvensi telah memaklumkan beliau tentang status muflis anggota Parlimen Labuan Datuk Yussof Mahal, dan beliau akan membuat keputusan berhubung perkara itu tidak lama lagi.

Pandikar berkata beliau harus memutuskan sama ada membenarkan Yussof menghadiri persidangan Dewan Rakyat bermula 24 Sep. Dewan Rakyat dijadualkan bersidang dari 24 Sept hingga 27 Nov untuk sesi bajet.

Katanya beliau menerima pengesahan daripada Jabatan Insolvensi bulan lepas di mana Yussof diisytiharkan muflis dan akan meneliti dokumen yang diterimanya daripada jabatan itu sebelum membuat keputusan.

“Saya harus pulang ke pejabat dan meneliti semua perkara. Sekiranya saya akhirnya memutuskan beliau tidal layak sebagai anggota Parlimen, jadi saya harus bercakap dengan beliau dan meminta beliau tidak menghadiri sesi terakhir (Dewan Rakyat),” katanya kepada pemberita pada majlis Rumah Terbuka Umno Kota Kinabalu di sini.

Ketua Menteri Sabah Datuk Seri Musa Aman menyerahkan sumbangan kepada anak-anak yatim dan ibu tunggal pada majlis itu.

Pada 7 Ogos lepas, Mahkamah Tinggi Labuan mengeluarkan notis muflis kepada Yussof, 56, walaupun jumlah hutang tidak didedahkan. Perintah muflis itu dikeluarkan berdasarkan permohonan yang difailkan pada 24 Mei lalu.

Yussof berkata usaha sedang dibuat untuk menyelesaikan isu itu. Pada pilihan raya umum 2008, Yussof yang bertanding atas tiket Barisan Nasional menang kerusi Parlimen Labuan selepas menewaskan calon PAS, Matusin Abd Rahman dan calon Bebas, Lau Seng Kiat.

  2. semua YB dari BN ini,saya rasa semua menanggung hutang dan hanya tunggu muflis saja,bah kalau mahu tahu kita undi PR akan datang dan kita nampak lah berapa yang muflis dikalangan mereka,mungkin termasuk kita punya speaker kebanggaan kita.

  3. Tuan Speaker kita tuh barsama TYT Sabah..rasanya ada rekod kegunaan jenayah kekerasan dmasa lampau. Rasanya,lokasi adalah Hotel Perkasa nun. Mahu ugut/hentam calon PKR katanya. Betul ke? Sebab tu aku trkejut nengok naiknya TYT kita tuh.

  8. Ini bagi mengelak pandangan negatif daripada penduduk. Kenapa MP yang bermasalah tetap dalam jawatannya?

    Mesti pihak pembangkang juga tidak akan duduk diam untuk memburukkan kerajaan jika MP tersebut terus bersama BN.

  13. Itu baru Ahli Dewan yang muflis belum negara. Kalau cukai GST tidak dilaksanakan negara akan muflis kata Menteri BN Datuk Idris Jala fasal itu Najib takut negara muflis dan berjanji akan melaksanakan cukai GST selepas PRU13. Sebab itu kita perlu SOKONG UMNO/BN supaya cukai GST dapat DILAKSANAKAN SELEPAS PRU13. Dalam ertikata lain kita menjadi PENYUMBANG SEDEKAH kepada kerajaan.
